First, choose a base enclosure:

Fabricated by PdLS, a line of auxiliary Extension Switches designed to match the enclosures of the MC6 Pro, MKii and MC8. We are offering this in multiple configurations, for placement next to or in front of the controller.

A popular option is the triple switch side or front AUX. Like many triple switches on the market, the third switch can be tough to reach, so dual-switch and “arcade button” options are also available. The front switch is also available as a deluxe mode with three footswitches and three arcade buttons (two omniports required for TRS, or omniport one can be configured for resistor ladder setup).

The resistor ladder option supported by the latest controller firmware also makes possible larger format extension switches such as the L-shaped Left<Turn AUX listed here. These are made to order based on customer preference for enclosure size and shape. Customized top plate designs are encouraged - please reach out with your concept and we will work together to create something unique for your board! (More on top plates below)

As with all of our base enclosures, multiple filament options are available. The standard offering is matte black (PCTG, made in the USA). The filaments we select provide an excellent balance of strength and heat resistance, and have a uniform, matte surface finish which we think is an excellent match for the controller powder coat.

Next, choose a custom cover plate:

SwitchPlates allow you to personalize your midi-controlled rig. We will continue to add themes to the photo gallery for inspiration, but the idea is to offer as much customization as possible so your switch can be as unique as you desire. Generally, the optimum maximum for colors within a design is four to eight. Let us know what you have in mind!

Choose from existing themes or send us your ideas and we will work together on the perfect look for your board. The plates are designed for easy assembly and reassembly, so keep a few spares around in different colors or schemes to swap as the mood strikes.

SwitchPlates are fabricated with solid layers of high performance filament, ensuring adequate fit and finish for the board you have spent so much time curating.

We keep some inventory of sone products but sometimes develop a short queue. Please allow five to seven (5 - 7) business days for fabrication and shipping on standard items. Note that custom designs often require lead times as we iterate on your project, but we like to think the finished results are worth the wait! My preference is to complete custom orders prior to payment, so if you see anything on the site that isn’t in stock or have a new idea, please reach out and we will get to work
