Collection: Custom pedal risers
I have a few pedals that use a midi cable and expression pedal in addition to the usual audio and power cables. I saw players posting pictures with sheet metal risers on their boards to make wiring complex boards a little easier but held off for quite a while. I finally decided to design a compact, lightweight riser with features that would "keep" the cables where I wanted them without adding much bulk. My goal was something that could be easily customized for each application, so additive manufacturing seemed like a reasonable approach.
I've developed a few basic designs covering the usual suspects offered here. These work well for your everyday 1590A (e.g. Polytune mini, Ditto, dual tap switches...), 1590B (your basic boutique "single" pedal - too many to name), 125A (e.g. Chase Bliss), and 1590BB (e.g. DroloFX, and many "double" pedals like the King of Tone or Sun Lion). They are fabricated with a PLA-CF or PETG-CF printer filament providing a strong, lightweight structure with a uniform, matte surface finish. I've worked diligently to avoid support structure wherever possible, but where rougher surface finishes are inevitable I have kept them hidden in cable channels or on surfaces that will be covered by Dual Lock or Velcro.
A small inventory of "standard" size risers in flat and inclined configurations is maintained per below, and custom requests are welcome as well. Let us know what you'd like designed for your rig!
